Somatic Yoga π
βThe human body is not an instrument to be used, but a realm of oneβs being to be experienced, explored, enriched and thereby, educated.β ~ Thomas Hannah.Β
Somatics, from the Greek word “soma” meaning body, is the internal perception of ourselves. Somatic Yoga focuses on our internal experience of movement, fostering a deeper connection between mind and body. Itβs an effective movement therapy for addressing discomfort, imbalance, and promoting self-healing through neuro-muscular re-education.
Pranayama & Meditation ππ
Explore breath regulation (pranayama) and meditation to deepen the connection between body, breath, and mind. Weβll start with gentle movements to release tension, followed by breathwork to balance the nervous system, setting the stage for meditation. This class offers a supportive space for both beginners and those looking to refine their practice.
