Kids Yoga with Cat

Yoga in Common introduces a series of six Children’s Yoga classes (for 4-8 year olds) — every Saturday, starting 18th August.

Kids yoga introduces children to the benefits of yoga, from increased flexibility, strength, self-confidence, co-ordination plus yoga encourages self-discipline, concentration, and teamwork in a non-competitive environment. Children doing yoga also feel calmer and more relaxed, giving them a healthy foundation for their journey in life. Kids yoga is, above all, fun!

Over six weeks, we will go on a yoga adventure that covers the fundamentals of yoga. In each class, we explore breathing exercises, yoga poses, relaxation techniques and ways to meditate and de-stress. We will also introduce yoga games, partner poses, plus artistic expression through music, song, and art.

Every week will center on a theme, from working with Mudras and Mandalas, Geography, Anatomy & Physiology to Celebrations and Festivities. Join us to build a community of little yogis.

$150 for all 6 sessions

These classes are for children; parents need not attend. Please ensure your child wears comfortable clothing (shorts or leggings). Mats and props are provided, but bring your own water bottle.
