Join Vivian for a 5-week course and start practicing Ashtanga Yoga the tradtitional way!
This is a gentle introduction to Ashtanga and we will start from the very basics: the method for breathing and the sun salutations. We will add poses week by week and by the end of the 4 weeks, you will be able to practice on your own, whether it is in a Mysore room (shala) or at home. The final week is an introduction to Mysore style classes.
In Mysore classes, students practice yoga at their own pace, but with personalised adjustments and guidance. The benefits of this way of practicing yoga is that your particular needs are addressed. You get all the advantages of personal coaching as well as the energy that arises from being in a group class.

I have been practicing Ashtanga Yoga since 2005, and teaching since 2007. I feel blessed to have been able to practice as a student of Paramaguru Sharath Jois in Mysore, India in 2007, 2014 and 2016 and just recently, in Denmark and Stockholm in Aug 2017. Over time, through a dedicated practice and by staying present with where you are, a positive change happens physically as you gain greater body-awareness. The focus and intention that you practice with has the potential to create a deep state of contentment, relaxation and peace. I am here to support and guide students in their own personal experience of yoga.
